Thought Leaders Share Insights on Technology Expertise and Advocates in the Boardroom

IRVINE, Calif., April 10, 2018 — The Executive Next Practices Institute (ENP) today announced it will host The Digital Director Talent Gap Forum, focused on technology expertise and advocates in the board room. The forum will be held on Thurs., April 19, 2018, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at ENP’s offices at UC Irvine Applied Innovation, 5141 California Ave., Suite 250, Irvine, Calif.

“Few boards have enough combined digital experience to have meaningful conversations with senior management. In this forum, attendees will learn about the new rhythm and alignment to support the C-suite meet the pace of digital disruption,” said Scott Hamilton, CEO, Executive Next Practices.

According to McKinsey in 2017, only 116 directors on the boards of the Global 300 are “digital directors” (McKinsey, 2017). Furthermore, only about 5 percent of boards have technology committees and just 16 percent of directors said they fully understood how the industry dynamics of their companies were changing.

Sharing insights are industry-leading speakers, including:

  • Kazu Yozawa, CEO, NTT Security Japan
  • Bob Zukis, senior fellow, Conference Board Governance Center
