IRVINE, Calif., July 20, 2017 – Executive Next Practices Institute (ENP), Orange County Chapter, today announced the speaker lineup for its “Next Practices in Sustainabilty for ROI”. Presented by ENP, UCI Applied Innovation and Sustain OC, this program being held on Fri., Aug. 4, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the UC Irvine Center for Applied Innovation, 5141 California Ave., Suite 250, Irvine, Calif.
Featured speakers from industry leaders Allergan, Edward Lifesciences, Comerica and Earth Friendly Products, will share how to build sustainability into 2017-2018 plans. Speakers include:
- Allergan: Sulaiman Hamidi, director, Sustainability & Product Stewardship;
- Edwards Lifesciences LLC: Diane W. Biagianti, vice president, chief responsibility officer;
- Comerica Inc.: Kristin Bloser, vice president, senior sustainability officer, and
- Earth Friendly Products: Naderehan Afsharmanesh, vice president, sustainability.
“Getting creative with the way we obtain, use and dispose of materials will be key for a successful and sustainable global economy. This panel will examine sustainability strategies from multiple industry sectors and how to apply them at work,” said Scott Hamilton, president & CEO, Executive Next Practices.
The Business and Sustainable Development Commission report indicates that achieving a sustainable global economy could create at least $12 trillion in business value by 2030 and generate up to 380 million jobs.
